This project ran as an event at the “In a Country Far Far Away” festival at Mile End pavilion. I created an armature for the golem, and visitors helped to sculpt it over a weekend.

They printed it with “Never Again” in a variety of languages, to link the history of the golem of Prague with the contemporary far-right threat.

I made the sculpture kiln-ready, then fired and glazed it. It travelled to the Bad Oeynhausen fairytale museum in Germany for the second half of the festival.
